Muddled mind

Looking back at my posts I see one that I stated that I was going to knit myself a cardi. Anybody that knows me I love a good cardi, they are a stable part of my wardrobe. I take one wherever I go be it hot or cold.

I finished a jumper a few weeks and to be honest I was quite happy with it, to be honest I was surprised it fitted. Don't know why I should have, but again not most confident person when I comes to the items I make.

Having sold over 30 items over the last few years things I make can't be that bad no negative reviews yet LoL. Going back to the post showing the cardi I was about to make. I started it got quite far then stood back and thought this doesn't look right; should have done a stitch square. I was making a cardi size 12/14 and it was over double that size.

  • Undo it tick

  • Sit and search for a new pattern

  • Found one

  • Remember to do a square to make sure this time right size

  • Started knitting all good was a lovely eyelet pattern and in 4 colours

  • Oh no at top of back realised my colours were not going to match fronts or sleeves.

  • Start again search for a new pattern

  • Found a Debbie Bliss fairisle cardi let's go for it

Bring on the muddled mind, forgot what is involved in knitting fairisle, twisted wool and counting which colour goes where. This pattern is not going to beat me, 3rd time lucky.

Come back when I have finished and I will finish this cardi.
